Over five decades of commodity transloading
Hallett Construction Company, established in 1903, was the flagship company of Ernest W. Hallett’s 30-plus companies which concentrated on the production of sands and gravels, and highway construction. Hallett Dock Company, one of those 30 companies, was established in 1961 and is, like Hallett Construction Company was, employee-owned.
Our company enters its fifth decade in the business of transloading, stockpiling and delivering a variety of bulk commodities from its three facilities in the Duluth-Superior Harbor. Management and staff continue to focus on bringing innovation and efficiencies to better meet the ever-changing needs of our customers to reduce delivered costs and maintain commodity integrity, while meeting the ever-tightening delivery schedules.
Our personnel include highly skilled equipment operators, maintenance personnel, managers with over 75 years of combined experience in handling/ transloading bulk commodities and administrative/ support personnel working together as a team to meet our customers’ needs.
